There is room
for you in this house.

The Twelve Church, R.O.A.R. Cogea International is a family of faith on Crosslink Road — gathered every Sunday at 11 in the morning for Worship Celebration, and on the last Friday of each month at 7 for Lions Mouth Night.

A welcome

Come as you are.
You will not be a stranger here.

If you have been away from church for a while, or you have never been at all, this is a good place to start. Nobody will hand you a name tag or ask you to stand up. You can slip into a seat, breathe, and listen — and by the end of the morning we hope you feel that you have been in the presence of God and among family.

We sing. We pray for one another. The Word is opened plainly and applied to real life — the kind with bills in it, and grief in it, and hope still in it. Then we go back out to love Raleigh a little better than we found it.

Whether you come once or come for years, you are welcome before you are anything else.

The vision behind the night

The vision came to our Apostle through a dream. In it there was healing, deliverance and so much power — and the Lord gave him the scripture from Amos, chapter three, verses three through eight.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Amos 3:3 · King James Version

Pastor & Founder

Presiding Bishop & Chief Apostle of R.O.A.R. Cogea

Dr. Bass founded The Twelve Church and shepherds it still. He serves as Presiding Bishop and Chief Apostle of R.O.A.R. Cogea International, and he carries a pastor’s heart for the people of Raleigh — for the seeker in the back row and for the family who has carried grief a long way. His preaching anchors Scripture in everyday life and calls people to be healed, made whole, and sent.

Lady of The Twelve Church

Prophetess, R.O.A.R. Cogea International

Lady Bass stands with her husband in the work of this house. She is a woman of prayer and a prophetess in the ministry of R.O.A.R. Cogea, and she has a particular care for the women and families of the church. On a Sunday morning you will find her among the people, often the first to reach a hand to someone who walked in alone.

What we believe

Old faith.
Living power.

We hold the faith once delivered to the saints — and we expect it to be alive in Raleigh this week. These are the convictions that shape everything we do.

  • 01

    The Word of God

We believe the Bible is God’s Word — our sure foundation for faith, for conduct, and for the hope we preach.

  • 02

    Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, crucified for our sins and risen in power, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

  • 03

    Grace and New Life

We believe no one is too far gone. Salvation is a gift of grace received by faith, and it makes a person genuinely new.

  • 04

    The Holy Spirit

We believe the Spirit of God still fills, gifts, heals and guides His people today — not as history, but as present power.

  • 05

    A Life of Prayer

We believe prayer moves heaven. It is the work of the church, not the last resort of the desperate.

  • 06

    One Family, Sent Out

We believe the church is a family without fences — called to love Raleigh in ways that are practical, visible and costly.
